Well, Ocarina of Time is a very popular game, so I figured I would bring the discussion here.
I feel he raises some good points, especially the waiting in combat part. I haven't played any of the newer Zelda games (Past Twilight Princess) so I'm not sure if they changed much since then.
Also when you think about it, OoT was rather rail roaded.

It is not a popular opinion of mine, but I think Link Between is one of the worst Zelda games yet. It is presented well, but it is completely soulless and devoid of adventure.
