Ok I've been playing & I think I've got the hang of this game & most of the finer points. That is until the inevitable "umm" situation arises lol. So it's now time to actually build a table proper vs the bleak, rocky desert backwater terrain I've been using (wild west exodus lol). So I got to wondering... what about an underground section like a sewer or subway? It wouldn't ACTUALLY be under the table naturally but it seemed like a fun idea

Sewers I wouldn't recommend, but that's because I'm not a fan of corridor maps, because they feel like playing the game with infinitely tall buildings and scatter terrain, and 'shortcuts' through them infinitely tall buildings if you have airlocks. It removes one of the more interesting elements of an Infinity table - verticality.

Whether you go urban, desert, wooded area, whatever you want, make sure the game is not played on a flat table. Have buildings of varying heights, raised catwalks, platforms between buildings, etc. Once you have these sorts of elements on the table, Infinity really shines.

Well the sewer/subway thing would be a small sub section rather than the whole table. As my main faction is Haqqislam I'm going to make a desert city like New Mombassa in Halo 3 ODST. I've got a set of deadzone scenery inbound as well as O:I. I'll be looking to acquire a second O:I scenery & mat set. From there I'll also pick up a few electric boxes & make some buildings. All in all it should be good to go for a nice New Mombassa table. Especially after I add in palm trees & make some data terminals & trash bins.
