Hi all,

I recently (well 4 years ago or so) came back to wargaming after some years of only painting the odd figure here and there.

Naturally my introduction to it was a Warhammer starter box with Bretons and Lizardmen. I never played a game, but I really enjoyed painting them. After this initial contact I switched to Confrontation and was quite active as long as it lasted. Other stuff was coming up, so I decided to sell everything and it took me almost ten years to start anew.

I picked up a 15mm Carthaginian army and the Reaper Bones Kickstarter to satisify two of my interests:

The period of the Punic Wars with its illustrous protoganists Hannibal Barcas and Scipio Africanus and Old School Dungeon Crawl, mixed with some RPG.

I hope I can get some inspiration on Dakka and also would like to showcase and share my creations.

I am a big fan of terrain building (maybe even more so than painting miniatures), but try to devote time to both sides of the hobby.

I am also very interested in using some of the old Confrontation Goblins I bought some time ago to play Fantasy Skirmish and Mortheim might be just the way to go.

I document my projects on my blog DaggerAndBrush, so feel free to have a look. Tutorials, reviews and wargaming related articles are all featured.

For starters a group shot of my still growing Carthaginian forces:

The wolves go for the throat.
We go for the eyes.
Then the tongue.
Then the hands.
Then the feet
Then we skin the crippled remains.
