I'm not new to wargames, been playing them for a while, but got out while I was in the military, didn't have the room, and other things took priority. Glad to be back in the hobby, it's been a lot of fun so far.

Big thing on my mind right now:

I play Space Wolves for my Imperium army. I love the stormtalon model, and have two. Problem is my Wolves can't take them, so I have to run an Unbound Detachment of iron hands. This makes my whole list unbound, which some people won't play against. I recently found the rules for the Land speeder Tempest, which my Wolves can take. If I were to use my Stormtalons as stand ins (I have neither the funds nor inclination to purchase forge world), what objections would people have, if any? I have decided to use cut down flyer stands, and modified skimmer bases for these models to represent them being closer to the ground, though, all the pictures show the LS Tempest as zooming around like an A10. The word I have from My community is, If you can get it closer to the tabletop, We'll allow it. I'd like to hear what y'all think, as I find the Tempest to be a low cost alternative to the 'talon.

Aside from that, I have my 4,000 or so points of Space Wolves, 3500 or so points of Tau, ~800 pts of Eldar (depending on spec), and ~2500 pts of Dark Angels. I'm not a powergamer or tournament player, so my lists tend to be pretty fluffy. My Space Wolves and my Tau are very mobile Air Assault units, and I have a heavy Airpower bias. For my Tau I'm planning on adding a squadron of Remora Drones at some point, and a second Razorshark. Those being my primary Armies.

Hi,
