I can understand what you are saying about keeping your interest high but the flip side of that is you never get familiar with a caster and how they play and the interactions between that caster and his list. With jumping around you could get disheartened with lots of casters and eventually the faction.
I don't go to tourney's either (though I would like to go some of smaller events that get run) and I build my lists with character restrictions in mind. It makes you look at other options instead of just dropping the same stuff in a list over and over again and becoming too reliant on it, but that's just how I play and design my lists
With list 1 I still feel the Stormknights and Stormclad is not a great idea. You are totally relying on Arcane Shield to keep the Stormblades alive and from personal experience that is not enough. So you either need a screening unit for them or something else to help them survive so in this case you would be better to drop the Stormblade Captain for Rhupert Carvolo. He will be able to grant them Tough to try and keep them alive. Other option would be to drop the Stormblades and Captain and take Max Boomhowlers who with Arcane Shield have a higher armour and access to 4+ Tough
List 2 - With Fury on the Stormlances most stuff is not surviving auto-hitting POW18+
4d6 charge attacks under the feat turn. Kruegar and the druids will just be immune to your shooting and eleaps. Their Immunity: Electricity is not stopping them getting smashed around the face. The main issue with Kruegar is the battlefield manipulation he can get going but that's a headache for most lists anyway.
List 3 - Thorn is a totally different kettle of fish with her compared to a normal Lancer
List 4 - Nemo's and Darius are probably the best options. The Nemo's actually make him a credible melee monster with the ability to turn him into a POW18 melee jack, which is better than his pillow fisted base attacks. The issue you have is that some casters can easily tank your 3 POW14 shots or stuff that is immune to knockdown. You already have stuff that can deal with
LOS issues they are called Gun Mages with Thunderbolt shots. Taryn is useful if your meta likes using lots of Battle Enginers/Gargossals to screen their caster and to top it all it's an 18pt module for all of that and for 1pt more you could get the Stormwall. Most knocked down casters are not going to like Rowdy or a Stormclad applying a very large high pow auto-hitting charge attack to their face. If you just drop Thunderhead and Taryn you could get Stormclad, Squire and Rhupert to support the Stormblades all of which I feel is adding more overall to your list. Plus the Stormblades are a more reliable shoot knocked down caster to death because if the Stormgunner hits they all hit and for 9pts you have potentially lots of POW14 (assuming with the 5" bubble) ranged shoots and even RAT5 Stormblades have a good chance of hitting a knocked down caster. Will your tactic work yes, but
IMO it's a very heavy investment in points to make it happen.
