I want to paint an urban-ish camo scheme on my Renegade Militia Chimera, but I have no idea what colours I want it to be in. I want to paint like the Cadians, but with different colours.

I've been thinking about aq dark grey, with brown and khaki strips going around it. Any suggestions?

I think you should try to keep a coherent color scheme : black - grey - white, or brown - khaki - yellow, for a camo schemeIif you mix to many colors, result could be strange.

Well really it all depends on what color you painted your buildings tbh. Real camo is just supposed to break up the outline rather than hide it per se. As such I'd do a medium grey base with geometric patterns of darker grey & black & maybe tan. Either that or simply do a dot camo. Do keep in mind though that effective camo will make the tank hard to see any details on from a standard gaming distance so definitely exaggerate things on the pattern so it stands out rather than blends. This is from experience lol.

How about Steel Legion Drab with brown and green stripes?

I'm immediately getting an image of a Russian MiG in my head based on that description. Do you mean like tiger stripes or more like bands that wrap around the vehicle at an angle? I'm not sure how those colors are urban unless that's how your terrain is painted.

I don't have photos right now, but i used an airbrush (you could just use coloured spray paint) to do a dark grey and dark blue mottled effect. It was simple and looks solid. it fits well witht he grey/dark blue of the troops uniforms that i chose.

Something like this (http://blog.spoongraphics.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/camo-patterns/Urban-Camo.jpg) could be emulated easily with spray paint and blu-tack. That whole scheme could be done in two hours with three cans of spray paint.

You could try to replicate the Berlin Brigade scheme from the Cold War.
