This is a really fun game & I enjoy it immensely. It's scalable from a gunfight in an alleyway all the way up to a full battle between the US Army & the Warrior Nation. The minis are incredible & work well with wyrd's plastic stuff. I wouldn't mind seeing a malifaux/wwx crosaover tbh. And best of all is the Wayward 8 the "not Firefly crew".
How's the game being received in England BTW?

Not well to be honest,
Whilst I was demoing it in Plymouth there was not a single passer by that didn't show an interest in the models and rules and not a single demo was poorly recieved, but due to outlaws refusal to deal with middle men distribution and access is an issue.
We have a couple of retailers
Firestorm- very reliable and well priced but selling through their stock without reordering
Space myth and Magic- well priced but no online presence
Wayland games- cheap and nasty and not trusted
Otherwise we have to order direct, not pleasant due to the potential for customs charges (based on value) and a mandatory handling fee (fixed £13) which can stack the price beyond other game systems .
A few of us are hoping for a decent kickstarter campaign to kickstart a few retailers here

Kinda interested in the upcoming KS. I like the models and the gameplay seems fun, but what about Outlaw themselves? Good? Bad? Ugly?

Iv had no fuss with them. Any contact has been quickly responded to, the owners active on the main facebook groups and they're open and honest about future plans
There was a little issue with the first kickstarter which was due to underestimating costs (and demands) but so far it seems lessons have been learnt and everything's being well thought out.

They treat their customers well, good service
The 1st Kickstarter was the best fulfillment I ever had in a kickstarter

Their communication (in updates and hugely on social media) has been excellent on this one, with the two main guys being very active on facebook, responding to questions, queries and criticism very well

A quick update, funding has now added an additional 12 models to each faction bundle, almost doubling the value of the pledge so anyone on the fence have another look and pick your side

Yeah, at this point there are definitely some good deals in those pledges. For example, the "Rebel" pledge for $255 currently offers 106 models (26 resin, 80 HIPS Plastic) which averages out to like $2.45 a model. That pledge amount would be a decent deal just for the 26 resin models, especially at the quality Outlaw makes them. Shipping costs are low, even to Europe from what I hear.
Also, it sounds like several of the UK backers and players of the game are pushing a few UK stockists to carry the game. If you are in Europe, it would be a good time to check it out and join their cause. More voices should mean more chance of them carrying the line.

Yep, postage to the UK is $20, with it being shipped from a UK relation so no ridiculous and unpredictable customs charges.

I am really looking forward to this one for my wife and I. We have never played, but everything looks great and like we can have a ton of fun. My fingers will remained crossed till after that first game though. Mainly because after looking at a bunch of games (40k (we have both played this), Infinity, Mercs, Warmahordes, Warpath, and Kings of War) we thought this one might give us the best mix of fun, easy to learn, and manageable around a 10 month old. Though we almost picked Kings of War instead. Lets hope we are right!

It's definitely quick to learn, and you can scale from a coupld of models to a full skirmish really easily
