I think the title says it? The bikers look like a lot of fun, but I'm curious how viable a list of them would be or, if it isn't, what a good, bike-heavy list would look like.
I'm quite new to the game, so feel free to shut the idea down, just playing with the viability of it since pretty models are more fun to play with (if they don't get blown off the table).

I'm also fairly new but if you want to do a hundred percent Kum I'd worry about the lack of anti-armour; your only anti-heavy-infantry/TAG tools are close combat weapons and one Panzerfaust. There's also the issue that anyone with a number of MSV/speculative fire/mobile folks that can ignore the smoke are going to shoot you to pieces before you get anywhere near melee with all your scary melee folks.
A Kum element as part of a larger list looks like it'd be awesome, but I think all-Kum or even mostly-Kum looks too one-dimensional. On the bright side they're inexpensive enough that you can take Kasym, the Twins, and one or two others and have plenty of points for other stuff.
According to him, it's got issues, but not insurmountable. Apparently at that tournament he won about half his games. I think the biggest issue would be no order pool - which he said he got around with coordinated orders. That won't be as usable now, as you'll be able to do it a maximum of 4 times. Another pitfall will be zero specialists for objectives.
In fact, if you use their smoke which can be used on the impetuous order, and use deployment to limit where they drive, they will survive more often than not. This is because the high target number they have when launching or throwing a smoke grenade.
I can easily see running 4 normal bikers, and Kasym as the LT. Use the point and SWC savings to arm up some Ghulams in the back, or Halqa that move up behind the smoke wall to take objectives.
The main problem you're going to find with fitting Kum into a normal list if you're only going to fit a couple in before it starts to be a hindrance on your points. They're cheap, but when you get up to 4 or 5, and if you're mixing the weapon options up a bit and not going all Chain Rifles, you'll start to rack up points. Ideally you'll want them in their own combat group with a couple of other cheap cheerleaders like Naffatun to give you a little order flexibility, but that can easily hit 100pts.
That doesn't leave you much to play with for a second combat group if you want to include more than up-gunned line infantry. Which is fine for a SpamIslam list, but if you want to start bringing the more specialised light infantry or medium/heavy infantry, the points just won't be there.
Twenty bikes, all the time... Yes. Want it so badly, can't decide on that or a six biker JSA list. If it is going to be your fun army, do it. Just have some other models to use for scenario missions or tournaments.
