Anyone have any experience with it? How it plays?

I have the rule book which is very nice it is split into 2 books fluff and rules both. The game plays very well is easy to pick up and is a lot of fun.

The miniatures are on par with infinity's if you have ever seen those, they look gorgeous but some are a little fiddly to put together. Each race has 3 internal factions that have different play style's you can mix and match but every unit which matches your warbands leader gets a bonus. There are also a selection of upgrades the leader can take which also effect the play style of the warband.

I love the game and have 2 warband's the only issue is finding player's but I am lucky that I have a small group locally who play.

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis

The core rule book is on their webpage for free, I just started reading it myself because I have been seeing this game mentioned a lot recently. Here's the link: http://www.megalith-games.com/eng_index.php?id=&pid1=P1_3&pid2=S1_19

Godslayer i wicked fun. I haven't played it in like a year though and when I did it was only maybe a couple games. It's a nice skirmish type game.

Plays a little faster than a game of Warmachine/Hordes. I've tried out the Mortans and the Beastmen-looking dudes. I forget some of the specifics... there's a gear type system with your leader unit I believe... might also be with the other units too. I really wish I still had my stuff now that I'm talking about it.

The rulesystem is one of the best I have ever played. I like to describe as having similarities to Warmahordes without the bits I don´t like about it (no caster kill victory condition for example) and alternating activation. As others said, you can read the rules for free and you get profiles for the starter boxes, too. So enough to try it out. Balance between the factions seems fine, we never had complaints. You are faced with tactical decisions galore, much thinking necessary. We like it dearly although do not manage to play as much as the ame would deserve.

The company is motivated but as the owners still do it as a sidejob, so releases are a bit slow at times although they are working on faster releases. After about 2.5 years of the game being releasead, we will have a ll units released from the corebook this spring. They are also improving older sculpts and with the new they have switched to digital sculpting in many cases which has improved the sculpting quality immensely imho. Supply is no problem though, at least when ordering directly from them. Distribution works variably well depending on where you. In Europe you shouldn´t have problems getting the stuff but there is no US distribution for example so far. Also being worked on iirc.

All in all, give it a try, I expect you´ll not be disappointed.
