Those of you that own tags that need to be stored relatively safley, how do you do it? Do you use custom cut foam in something like a KR case? Or do you have another method of storing and transporting your armoured stomps robots?

I have a Battlefoam Beta bag. The pluck foam is plucked so it can fit 2 large base sized models, and the three TAGs I've tried in it (Scareface, Maghariba and Gorgos) can all fit in nicely.
Storage is an issue because I'm waiting on a display cabinet.

I really need a actual bag for my infinity, but for now...
Plastic Michaels/Joanns stackable/lockable clear containers. Big piece of battlefoam, proably 3-4 inches in height. Its just about fits the plastic container. I got 4-5 smaller square sections and 2 large ones for lots of guys and TAGS. I storm them face down in whatever way doesent have the most pressure points. They are all matt finished/gloss finished on parts so never have problem with paint being messed up. A real bag though is next on my list.

A 3" thick chunk of pluck foam (about half an older battlefoam tray).
Spaces torn out to fit the 8 TAG models I currently have (this is alongside every other infinity model I also have - they are all in the same aluminium tool case - 4 foam trays, plus the custom TAG tray.).
They were made to fit them when they were on 40mm bases.
When most got upgraded to 55mm, I just upended the models, and now they "hang" in their spaces, but are actually held up by the bases resting on the top of the foam.
(Except for the two geckos, who both fit into one slot (and are on their "sides" (relative) to the others, with blister foam between them.

I use Magnetic Force:
Two 10x2mm magnets for big guys and two 4x2mm ones for regular sized figures and a metal box
( Metallic Toolbox was 8e and Rare Earth magnets for the whole bunch and more around ~20-30e)

I use the corner of my old GW figure case I cut out for larger models.
(On a sidenote I love this box, it's been in continuous use for seven years now and it's still as sturdy as it was the day I bought it)

I use a pick and pluck KR section with the ~50mm trays. Can make sections to fit a large remote (and bikes) in almost exactly, and the TAGs.

rare earth magnets for me too, although I use tin cookie sheets and carry them in a mailer-style box roughly 10"x16"x3". I keep all my minis with magnets on similar sheets in similar (labeled) boxes so I can stack them on my shelves and easily grab what I need to game with. HELL of a lot cheaper than buying pluck foam and they take up a lot less space. As long as you're not flying or REALLY tossing your stuff around it keeps them safer than foam, I have a lot less damaged models that need to be glued
