Did you mean anime club? Because that would fit in better with the things I think you're into and I've never heard of an anise club.

If you actually meant anise, that sounds pretty amazing actually. Everyone gets together and you eat black licorice and pizzelles and drink absinthe and stuff. I could have a night of that.
