Subject: Anyone know a good place to get good quality N64 controllers?

Trying to find a few controllers for my N64. Most of what I've found has either been cheap knockoff controllers or beat to hell used sticks that don't really work anymore.
Are any of the new third party controllers any good or am I going to have to just dig through old controllers and hope I find a few good ones.

I end up having to really scrounge around the pit that is eBay. I've only gotten lucky a couple times.

I've had pretty good luck at flea markets and places of the sort. Gotta dig through a bunch of crap, but theres usually a few gems in there too.

I highly recommend not using N64 controllers. They were very poorly produced from today's point of view and easily break under high stress. You're better off using an emulator and modern controllers.

I already have the N64 and games, not to mention its for me and my roommates to play, so an emulator is worthless to me.
I looked at modern controllers, but many had garbage reviews. If you know a good brand that'll work with the console I'm all ears.

Why not just replace the N64 toggle sticks with GameCube toggle sticks?

Ah okay, in that case, yes, you're already stuck with the console
Despite being poorly manufactured, the originalm genuine Nintendo controllers still were the best. In the land of the blind...anyway, I'd therefore recommend picking up a genuine N64 controller from a seller at ebay with a good reputation and then, at the same time, buy an Analog Stick Repair Kit (e.g.: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Thumbstick-Joystick-Repair-For-Nintendo-64-Controller-Replacement-Sticks-/380705497715?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item58a3d0e273).
Sure, it increases cost but it's really worth it. And it isn't much, they usually go for 7$-13$.
