I'm planning on writing a fan fiction of sorts from a kroot perspective, so I have a few questions about them, so I don't butcher the fluff on them.

1. What is a kroot childhood like? (Do they get called something like chicks when they're young?)

2. Do the kroot get any benefits from eating plants? (Minor case of photosynthesis in a way?)

3. How long does it take for the genes to work in the kroot? I.E. Can a kroot get benefited from eating orks, or is it just their descendants that get the muscle mass?

I'd recommend wait and see if the rumored Codex: Kroots really do gets released. One would assume if the rumors true, GW would have to have their writers make up more fluffs for the Kroots. I mean, I can't imagine there exists that amount of Kroot fluff in past publishing to be recycled into a full-fledged codex. There might be more information on the sociology of the Kroots in the new dex. if you want to avoid messing with the fluff, wait until we know more.

Woudln't it be Codex: Kroot? One Kroot, four Kroot.

Yeah, even though it is just a fan fiction, I don't want to mess up any fluff, be it potential fluff, or actual fluff that is set in stone.
