Can you post the content here? Linking to a blog is one thing but linking to a FB group where you can only see the content if you join is a bit much.

Had to find my thumb drive, I thought I had it on hand earlier when I posted. This is a WIP.

Well, at least the Group is still under 250 members. So while the RRT page is now a moot point, if you didn't want to have all of your content locked behind a sign up, you could simply make it Open.

Not that I expect you to, just noting that 'whelp, it's too late, already past 250 members' is not currently the case for this new group.

Excellent point but to go along with that every time it has been brought up most people preferred closed and also many of those that talk about open only want to come in and glean what is useful to them and not bother with joining. There are plenty of good reasons for open and plenty more for closed. The majority typically prefer closed so I see no sense to change that.

And I'm not arguing that.

But you're the one who made the posts about how 'guys turns out we can't go public anymore anyway'.

I was merely pointing out that, for now, that is not the case.

That was done purposefully since I had a few people still complaining since they were not members but wanted access. I feel I've gone above and beyond to make sure everything is accessible to all.

And you seem to be hitting that same problem here.

Anyway, apologies for derailing the thread. May there be many wonderous conversions to discuss and use in casual games to determine who would win in a dogfight, Luke, Starbuck, or Max Sterling.

Why not just host it on Google drive or dropbox?

I don't get the issue with people only wanting to "glean what was useful to them & not bother joining". If you're doing this for the good of any/every one then who cares if they just want the crunch & not the fluff? Not everyone is creative or even helpful & some acknowledge that.

Personally I don't care if people join or not. That is not the main point. The main point is that people that are members prefer a closed site to keep personal gaming and personal life separate. I can understand that. Everything I have for the Robotech Facebook page is already open for anyone and I've posted links from my google drive and we are also doing a wiki page. The fact that it is closed is based on member preference.
