Hello everyone
I am an avid painter and collector and over the past three or four years i have amassed an impressive sized Cryx collection. I do not get the chance to play often and as such i have only really played a handful of games. Now a close friend (I will be his best man in a few months) of mine has just opened up his own model shop (His dream) and as part of the two month new shop phase he is hosting an 8 player individuals event on the first weekend of next month. Unfortunately one space has been left unfilled and he has been unable to fill it successfully. So with my vast inexperience i have offered to step in and play some of the best warmachine players in the region for his final showcase event.

Now i am a realistic person, i do not plan on going in there and winning, but i want to leave there knowing i was out generalled and out matched rather than my shoddy list building skills letting me down. I also want to see if i can surprise a couple of them and general give a good account of myself

This is where i need your help. I have two lists that i think are reasonable and unique. I need help with what to take for my remaining list. Considering i own almost everything, models are not a problem but my initial thoughts are Deneghra2

List 1:

As you can see, i am short points in both lists and could really use some suggestions?

List 3:
List number 3, this is where i am struggling, would Deneghra2 complete my trio. Thinking about going double hellmouth with her

Casters get Warjack Points, which are to be spent on warjacks. Think of them as bonus points just for warjacks (and only warjacks). This means your points are off on your lists.

Your Terminius list is 50/54 points, so you get 4 more points for units. Your Skarre list uses all the warjack points (she is +6) but is down 2 points, perfectly legal for a steamroller (you can be down up to 2 points), but might as well put 2 points in.

I would rather see Terminus with some undead troops in there for his Sacrifical Pawn [Undead Model], and Shadow of Death (freidnly undead faction models get tough) abilities.

I do not like Deathjack with Akios, I think you are loosing out ALOT with that combo, would rather see Deathjack with your List3 of using Deneghra2 since he can cast most of her spells.

I would also like tos see Darragh Wrathe with your Terminus list, since he does combo with Death's Ride on Terminus himself, and gives your Soulhunters incoporeal on their activation (allowing you to move completely through other models). If you put Darragh Wrathe in List1, you make up those 4 points and that list is ready (unless you move Deathjack out, then I would look at putting more undead units in there).

I would also like to see the Sea Hag UA with the Blood Witches in List2, which would bring it up to points if you keep the Darragh Wrathe in the list, otherwise you have 4 points to play with.

I would also like to see a Skarlock Thrall with Skarre, since it can cast your Ritual Sacrifice for free, cast it on a Blackbanes grunt, and you can just return him later (even though you rfp one grunt, you can just make more later by killng living enemy warrior models).

Since I don't know exactly what you have it is difficult to make final suggestions, but if you do play Deneghra2, I would look at her Body and Soul theme list, since it its rather good and functional.

Do play what you are comfortable list, and since you will probably be playing in a steamroller event (just an assumption) I would make sure you understand how the scenarios work.

Lol, yep, you edited while I was typing and checking the lists.

I like the changes you made.

Plus, like I said, I would look at the Denny2 Body and Soul Theme list. It puts itself together easily

Well it is good a lot of the changes were ones you suggested anyway, makes you look good and makes me look psychic

You could stand more bodies in the Terminus list. Mcthralls maybe? Mainly for tough sac pawn bodies.

Maybe biles too. More threats, and potentially lots of souls from a good purge.

I think list 3 could go a couple different ways.

You could drop Dennys Leviathan for DJ (also dropping a pistol wraith or some banes) or drop the Levi to add the UA to the thralls plus another node and another WWS or max blood witches.

Either is good I think. With DJ double hellmouth is a thing, but the double arc node lets you be a little more reckless with the nodes and have more troops to throw around.

I think so. The terminus list alone is pretty different than the norm. pSkarre and eDenny can almost run anything, but both showcase what Cryx does well. I'd watch for the 'standard anti cryx' drops (stuff to fight dudespams), but those three cover matchups really well and you can comfortably drop Skarre and Denny into almost anything.

I like the changes to the lists.

I'm not sure about matchups, I would look at your opponents lists and see what they would take against cryx. Many more opponents need to tech for cryx rather than cryx has to tech for others.
