Hey guys, this is a sort of very rough draft of my attempt at balance. Any input would be appreciated. I still haven't decided which units will be classified under the 4 categories, so any help with that is also welcome. I am also considering adding an extra category between common and special.
Age of sigmar attempted balance:
Each warscroll is divided into 4 categories: common, special, rare, and legendary
Common warscrolls (20 models) are the basic units. When adding models, they must be added in groups of 10. For each 10 models added, the war scroll is upgraded a level. For example, if a unit of bretonnian men at arms added 10 models, the scroll would now be considered special. If the player adds 20 models, it is now considered rare.
Special warscrolls (10 models) are for the more powerful units. Extra models may be added in groups of 5. For every 5 models added, the warscroll is upgraded a level. Maximum amount of models added is 10 (legendary)
Rare warscrolls (5 models) are for some of the most powerful units in the warhammer world. May add 2 models (if allowed). When adding 2 models, the scroll is now considered legendary.
Legendary scrolls are for the most powerful units/heroes. No models may be added.
Games can be played with a limit on certain scrolls. For example, a small game can be limited to 3 common, 2 special, 1 elite and 1 legendary. You and your opponent should decide the limits before playing a game. Limiting the amount "common" unit usage may help to balance the match, if certain common units are op for their level.
Optional "funny" rules replacement: replace aforementioned "funniness" with a once per game use for the benefits conferred.
Automatically Appended Next Post: I just realised I put this in the wrong spot haha. Could a mod move it to the proposed rules section? Thanks
