General:

Funny rules: Any rules that are dictated by factors that are outside of the game immediately apply/don't apply in the users favor.

Exceptions to funny rules rule:

Greasus Gold-tooth- First 2 options can only apply and the bribe can only be one of these three things. 1. 1+ to another unit's current armor save. 2. -1 rend on a units weapons. 3. Return a currently on the board model to full wounds. The controlling player offers one of them and the other player may attempt to haggle for one of the other ones. No additions can be made to these bribes and only one may be given per turn.

New rules:

Facing- At the beginning of each turn you must declare a facing (in one the four cardinal directions) for each unit. You cannot change facing in combat.
A unit must know where it is going to have any chance of success in a war-zone.

Flanking- When charging a unit from a direction that is not its facing the unit charging receives re-rolls to hit and to wound. In addition, during the first round of a flank combat all bravery test damage is doubled. EXPERIMENTAL- Lastly, models may not use shields for the first round of a flank combat; who has time to raise one when the enemy is already upon you? Shields may be used after first round of combat. If a unit is charged in its facing and its flank, units may take shield saves only against the wounds from the front, but still suffer the bravery de-buff.
Attacking unexpected targets grants a rare opportunity to plan one's strikes throughly.

Force Orginization:

Order:

Formation (Applies to units from the Order faction)- While in base to base contact in straight rows with other friendly model that unit may re-roll any bravery test rolls of 6. In addition all units that are in the first two rows on the current facing can attack an extra 3" farther than usual on the side it is facing. If the formation is misaligned for any reason all effects are removed until it is realigned. Heroes may benefit from this if they are in a straight line in base to base contact with a model from the formation. Heroes themselves cannot obtain this rule unless attached to a unit who has this rule.
A more organized battle line allows for a fluid fighting style.

Barbaric Ancestry- 1 friendly Order unit for every 5 friendly order units in play may use the Mob special rule instead of the Formation special rule.
Even the armies of Order can be an unruly bunch.

Realign!- When charged, units can choose to change their facing to meet the charging unit on the roll of a 6+. If the units champion is still alive this is reduced to a 5+. If a hero is part of the formation it is reduced to a 4+. If the general is part of the formation this is reduced to a 3+.
"Face the spear towards the enemy" -Skilled Empire Tactician.

Chaos:

Mob- Units from the Chaos faction cause the unit being flanked to take every bravery test at an additional 3 models for the first round of combat, but only if they are above or at minimum model count. Units can pile in 5" and over friendly models, but may not land on top of them. Units flanking Mobs only receive re-rolls to wound. Heroes may benefit if they are only 1" away from a unit that has the mob special rule. Heroes themselves cannot obtain this rule unless attached to a unit who has this rule.
A unorganized horde does lend itself to some advantages.

Mercenary Training- 1 friendly Chaos unit for every 5 chaos friendly units in play may use the Formation special rule instead of the Mob special rule.
While usually a rambunctious conglomeration of individuals, some training can be obtained for the right price.

Death:

Formation (Applies to units in the death faction)- While in base to base contact in straight rows with other friendly model that unit may re-roll any bravery test rolls of 6. In addition all units that are in the first two rows can attack an extra 3" farther than usual on the side it is facing.

Realign!- When charged, units can choose to change their facing to meet the charging unit on the roll of a 6+. If the unit's champion is still alive this is reduced to a 5+. If a hero is part of the formation it is reduced to a 4+. If the general is part of the formation this is reduced to a 3+. You cannot Realign! during combat.
"Face the spear towards the enemy" -Skilled Empire Tactician.

Animalistic Surrender- A minimum of 1 to a maximum of 2 friendly Death units for every 5 friendly Death units in play must use the Mob special rule instead of the Formation special rule.
Sometimes the undead fall back into their more "primal" nature.

Destruction-
Mob- Units from the Destruction faction cause the unit being flanked to take a bravery test at -6 models when flanking, but only if they are above or at minimum model count. Units can pile in 5" and over friendly models, but may not land on top of them. Units flanking Mobs only receive re-rolls to wound. Heroes may benefit if they are only 1" away from a unit that has the mob special rule. Heroes may benefit if they are only 1" away from a unit that has the mob special rule. Heroes themselves cannot obtain this rule unless attached to a unit who has this rule.
A unorganized horde does lend itself to some advantages.

Rag-tag Organization- A minimum of 1 to a maximum of 2 friendly Destruction units for every 5 friendly Destruction units in play must use the Formation special rule instead of the Mob special rule.
Some rare individuals prize organization in the armies of Destruction.
