So,

I couldn't resist. I needed some "hero" models and some "Chaos" ones for my DnD games and the models look really cool, so I got the AoS starter set. Now, I might have a couple of games of AoS but I've also got some Dwarfs arriving from KoW!

Wondering if anyone can tell me what each unit in the AoS set could be classed as in the KoW game? This is what we have:

One Lord-Celestant
One Lord-Relictor
Three Retributors
Two units of five Liberators
Three Prosecutors

One Mighty Lord of Khorne
One Bloodsecrator
One Bloodstoker
One Khorgorath
Five Blood Warriors
Two units of ten Bloodreavers

Okay, so, the Sigmarites probably fit best into Basilea.

I don't know the names of the Age of Sigmar thingies, so I am going to describe them
The Hero on the beast probbaly fits best as the Grand Master on a Lion.

The Hero on Foot probably works as a High Paladin.
The Angel dudes work as Eholi.

The normal "foot slogging" Sigmarites are a bit more difficult. They are quite large on 40mm bases. This is not a huge problem, but consider that that is twice the size of the Basilean infantry. If you can figure out some way to multibase them 5 to a 100mm x 80mm base, then they could stand in for Paladins?

The two handed weapon Sigmarites could stand in for Foot Guard, a unit of Paladins with two handed weapons.

Chaos probably works best at present as either Orcs or Abyssals. There will be a "shattered tribes" list that is supposed to be a Warriors of Chaos replacement.

If you went with Abyssals, then the Bloodreavers could be lesser abyssals, the blood warriors could be armoured abyssals, and the rest various heroes.
