I would also add different high elf units. The sea guard and reavers are very average and hard to use effectively. The only reason I'd use them is to use the island of blood scroll. I would suggest phoenix guard and dragon knights as replacements.
Oh and use more swordsmasters if you can... they are really freaking amazing (3+ with rerolls for 1's and rend)
I thought seaguard and reavers were good units in
AoS? Reavers for their 14" speed and seaguard for the bonus you get in a units of 20+. Could you clarify that a bit?
Thanks all for the replies thus far. Love the Slann priest and Kroq-Gar on Carnosaur suggestions- looking forward to painting those down the road. I'll add a couple skink priests as well. Temple guard are great looking as well. Here is what I am working with mentally so far.
34 skinks(22 have blowdarts)
20 Saurus
17 Temple Guard
8 cavalry
I feel like that is enough models to make a reasonably even match against the HE stuff I have.
What would best to balance the "
hq" roles? Mage/loremaster v. skink priest?
prince on griffon v. slann/croq-gar??
I'm looking for a fun game where neither side is outmatched.
I also have a tyrion model but probably won't put it to use for a good while.
