Howdy!

Someone mentioned to me a little while back that once the new limited edition codex's sell out on GW's website, people can sell them for a significantly higher price.

I've seen some sold on Ebay for $400+ aud (200 pounds). Do people actually pay this?

I'm not selling mine, but I have the Necron Cryptek edition (998) and I was told it would be worth a lot more than original price now, and I'm just curious if it's true or not?

You'll have to post it as 'for sale' to find out.
If the ebay items you saw, did they sell? I expect it's never been used, and was bought for re-sale at a good mark-up.

Being LE makes them desirable, and if someone starts late, missed the release, and wants it, they'll pay a lot to get it.

But, since hardly any LE codexes on the UK ebay are auctions, it's hard to tell.

I bought a couple when I got back into the hobby. The insanely short lifespan of them put an end to that though. Surprised a market still exists.
