Hey guys, hopefully people here know diskwars and maybe think this is a good idea. I was thinking of throwing the terrain disks into aos because i dont have the cash or time for scenery models. There is a boatload of terrain but its just flat. What do you guys think

Matters more what your opponents think. I prefer actual three dimensional terrain, but that's because I really like the modelling side of this hobby. Having said that, it's going to be really hard to have line of sight blocking terrain when all of your terrain is flat. Might make for less interesting games as positioning will be far less important with ranged units being able to see everyone all the time.

Actually, something that can be helping is using a 2D zone under the 3D terrain. You can then remove the 3D piece(s) the time to move your miniatures without changing the emplacement of where the terrain "counts" in game terms. And then put it back so that it became "pretty" again.

Very useful for terrain zones like forests (if you like to play a "real" forest with many trees close to each other, not the Citadel one).
