Like the title says, I need help with buying some armies. I want Space Wolves and my friend wants to play Chaos, but I don't think there's a mixed box set that includes both, like the Stormclaw box which includes Orks and SW. I dunno if single army boxes exist, but it would be great if someone could tell me either if those exist, or if there is a mixed box with Chaos and SW. Thanks you!

You want "Warriors of the Fang" for Space Wolves. It's a $170 boxed set that prices out to $208 for all the individual components($30 savings, giving you the Space Marine Commander box for free essentially and leaving you with almost enough money saved to buy a Space Wolves Upgrade Pack if you want one to beef the Commander up and make your own Ragnar Blackmane).
Chaos Marines had a generic one, but that's gone now from their web listing. You MIGHT still find it on the shelves but I don't know.
For CSM, if he's just wanting to do basic CSM--his best bet would be to get some assorted random boxes.
If he's interested in running Khorne Daemonkin though, there is a $230 box which would give him a force out of the box using a standard CAD and a good basis for a couple of the Daemonkin formations. The individual components from the box would go for $240; of which the only thing really considered a "dud" are the Possessed.

WHoaaa... that's a lot of money, man. I know this is an expensive hobby, but it's really too much especially for somebody that new to the game like he is. I don't have an army either, so this is alright but... it's still expensive.
Do you know if there's a mixed Space Wolves/Chaos box?

I understand.
If you're both really new to not just the armies, but 40k in general?
I would suggest you both pick up the army books for your chosen armies and pick a specific formation from within them and build towards that.
In the case of Space Wolves, that would require you to also pick up the "Champions of Fenris" supplement(which I would suggest in any case as it has some REALLY cool stuff for you but still requires the basic Space Wolves book).
Do you know if there's a mixed Space Wolves/Chaos box?
There is not one, sadly. If Dark Vengeance had the Dark Angels portion with less specific iconography(the winged blade is a special icon that Dark Angels and their Successor Chapters use), I would suggest that.
The reason I suggested those two boxes is that they both contain, effectively, "complete" armies that once you finish building the stuff you can get right to doing fairly decent sized games.

Are you a Space Wolves player? I'm not new to 40k, but I've never had an army D:

I am not a Space Wolves player, but I've got a couple of pals who recently got into Space Wolves and went the "Warriors of the Fang+Space Wolves Dreadnought" route to start with.

If you are getting into it for the game you can try browsing eBay there are good deals sometimes there but if you want to build everything the aforementioned boxes or buying the individual boxes are your best bet.

Hope this helps at least for your Space Marines. Its the army he mentioned above for $136 rather than the $170 from GW.

Your buddy can always buy the half box DV CSM set from eBay or pick up the whole box for around $75 and then sell what he doesn't want to recover some money and still get the rule book.

I would seriously consider looking at some used minis. Chaos and Space Wolves are both popular armies, with plenty of used, army sized lots available for not too much money.

I'm very, very unsure as to why the seller is stating that it is "unopened" but then has this statement listed:
Note: These will be shipped out of the box. All contents from the box will be included.

That makes me a bit suspicious, but more than that it detracts from the overall experience. I know it sounds odd, but I'd like to get the full box and paint my own models and stuff simply to have the whole experience, even if I have to spend $40 more for it.

I'm a space wolves player. Sadly GW has been doing away with their old battle force boxes. You used to be able to get a small usable force out of the Space Wolves battle force box for $110. It wasn't the best force possible, but legal and included a single jump pod. It had a jump pod, 10 grey hunters and 10 blood claws. You could build it up with a little effort to have 10 blood claws in the assault pod, a unit of 5 grey hunters and then convert the other 5 grey hunters into a commander and 4 non-terminator wolf guard. The warriors of the fang boxed set at $170 is the only other option. It is basically what was in the battle force box plus a squad of jump pack blood claws, a long fang squad and a command figure. Not a bad price for what is included and definitely a full army.
You might be able to find a store that still has an old battle force on the shelf, but no guarantees since they don't make them anymore. Battle forces were an OK way to start a new army, but often were not rule legal armies to begin with every time, but with a couple other minor purchases would be legal. The Space Wolves box was one that you could effectively make a 1 HQ 2 Troops legal force out of.
On the chaos side one can hit ebay and very cheaply acquire the figures from the Dark Vengeance box (2 units of cultists, 1 chaos warlord, 1 helbrute and 1 unit of chaos chosen) usually for under $40. About the cheapest starting point you can get for a chaos army. There is an Blood Slaughter CSM Dark Vengeance add on pack for $135 you can add to the Dark Vengeance figures, but the mix of minis isn't all that good. Again with battle forces being phased out there isn't much else you can do other than buy individual sets. The aforementioned Khorne daemonkin warband is the only other 'bulk' option available for chaos at $230.
If these options are all too pricey for your primary options are either watching ebay for people selling lots for cheap, or to buy a unit box at a time as your budget allows until you get to a starting sized force. Just as a word of warning this is not a cheap hobby, and if these starting prices are causing you problems know that the finished normal game sized army 1500 to 1850 points will easily set you back $600+ depending on the army, horde armies like orks and AM cost even more because you need a lot more minis. Prices only get worse from here.

I am guessing that they mean "unbuilt" as opposed to "unopened". Send them a message to confirm pretty simple to ask a question on ebay.

in addition to eBay:
1) If you buy new, try to get from a discount retailer.
2) If you're not playing at GW itself ou might be able to look at third-party people for cheaper figures.
