Well hey, I've been inactive for quite a while now but I'm coming back now, and I think I need to update my list. Was just going to reply to the old topic but it hasn't been active since last year so on the advice of a mod I've made this new thread for it. Thinking it might need some tweaks, some corrections, maybe some additions due to new stuff I've received.
Just to keep in mind that I've set this up to be a "master list" with all my DA-compatible stuff "ready to go" for specific games so I can just pluck specifics parts out for the given situation and points level. I'll also mention that I've had some issues keeping up with all the updates since I vanished so please let me know if I've forgotten something important (I HAVE read the latest Dark Angels FAQ, some bits I struggled to understand but no issues regarding the things that actually concern my list as it stands).

The original master list, with some errors corrected:

Since I'm going with a mix of the Angels of Vengeance successor chapter and Vanilla DAs I'm listing the chosen paint schemes (and whether I've started to paint them) where applicable for those who are interested, along with a notice if they're gonna be singled out in the later sections for a particular reason.

The already suggested changes/improvements:

Most of the suggestions are taken from this post on my dormant thead.
One suggestion was to turn the Dreadnought weapon setups the other way around (Lascannon and Fist, Assault Cannon and Missile Launcher), which I'm a little unsure about as I picked the current setup to match their ranges together. Also the clashing color schemes would screw up weapon-switching between them (and putting them in a squadron together, if the weapon setups hadn't already done that, I do have alternate weapons for them though and I was careful not to glue the arms on), for that reason and another listed below I'm considering making them both have the same color scheme, probably the Angels Of Vengeance one.
Another big thing is that I should ditch Azrael. I'll admit he's a holdover from when I made the 6E Codex version of my list and I haven't done the model conversion yet but on the other hand I have the bits I think I needed for it, he'd be fun if I ever team up with my Guard-player friend (or make a Guard army myself) and I'm not sure what I'd do with that Company Master model otherwise. Suggestions VERY much wanted!
I was warned about the potential ineffectiveness of the DV footslogging PA Libby and my lone Vindicator, but I have no clue what to do about either.
I have concerns about my Deathwing Libby's weapon setup, I had a massively neck-and-neck poll about what Force Weapon he should have, I'm going with Force Axe for now but it's mostly a placeholder (the model has a Staff now, but I really don't like the idea of keeping it). I got the suggestion of dual-wielding the Force Axe and Mace Of Redemption for an expensive but universally-powerful weapon setup, which I'm kinda liking the idea of.

I recently got a Drop Pod, which could be good for my Dreads to shuffle into the Deathwing formation, particularly if I pick up another Pod. That's also why I'm considering making both Angels Of Vengeance. I might end up starting a Black Templars army later on and if I make both Pods mostly-black and without Chapter identifiers I could use the same Pods for both armies and no one will ever know!
I also got the Dark Angels expansion box for Christmas, setting up the extra Bikes seems obvious but I'm not sure how I wanna do my Deathwing Command Squad or which plane to use, nor am I sure if I should be asking those questions over in 40k Tactics instead.
I also have a partially built extra Termie dude who I'm thinking of making a DW Company Master. All that's left are his arms, I'm thinking of giving him either Lightning Claw/Power Fist or Lightning Claw/Chainfist.

In general, Ravenwing are very good and Deathwing are very bad.

i would look into the new Demi company/battle company formation for dark Angels I don't have my codex on me I think lions strike force? But the battle or Demi company aspect mixed with ravenwing has been a hard hitting force I've used during some games. Sadly our fliers are STILL garbage and the Deathwing got his hard with the nerf stick look into getting more transports since they are now free with that formation and the full BS (basically) over watch is amazing.

@Axis: Well, stuff specific to this list in particular (as outlined before).

@Stalked: Oh, I know about it, I just don't want to use it since i don't want a primarily "Greenwing" party and those formations are notorious for being cheesy.
