I can only talk of the Terrakami one
It's brilliant, easy to put together, nice on the tabletop, quite modular with the crates you put on it (I have the cargo version)

I'm sure I once saw one that actually had undercarriage, rather than just sitting flat on the table, but I can't remember who it was. They all need converting anyway - none of the existing kits have proper connectors between the locomotives and carriages.
It might also be worth looking for childrens' toys, and doing something with those. They're mostly steam trains, but there might be something more modern out there.

I only know of 3 companies. Bandua, Terrakami, and BPlasers. Others already linked above but heres http://www.bplaser.com/
BPlaser is based in Queensland, Australia and has some tracks available.
I personally have both the Terrakami mk2 passenger and mk2 freight trains. Theyre my favourite of the three designs.
Almost had a heart attack tho when I got them in a yellow bubblewrap padded envelope that the postworkers had tried their best to destroy. Miracle that no parts were missing or broken as the packaging was missing 3 corners!

They're just so expensive. :(
Which is a shame , since a train makes for a fantastic and very iconic anime battleground.
I should take a stab at making my own laser-cut version sometime.

Check Underground Lasers also. They made a train model for one of their kickstarters, and may be willing to cut one for you on order.
I think they were talking about putting it back in stock on the website at some point, also.

Ooooooo, I think that BLlaser one is my favorite so far if only due to the undercarriage and actual tracks. Still doesn't look like the thing could take a bend though, but oh well, I don't need em to move.

Well, while not sci-fi, Burn in Designs has a new train set. It could possibly work for an Ariadna retro-train. look around on his site.. he has some other designs in the works.

Pick up some HO scale train terrain and then get some sci-fi bits for it. Most modern HO train terrain should be easily converted or usable as is.

Got to agree with Grey Templar, converting may be your best option. Plus it's fun and you really feel like you've done it yourself!

The armies that I collect:
- Tyranids, 2,000 pts.
- Orks, 1,250 pts.
- Tau, 750 pts.
- Guard (PDF), 750 pts.
(Yes I have a thing for horde armies to some extent) |

Just don't paint it in the bright cheery colors most train terrain comes in. Give it that gritty sci-fi feel.
