Wanted a bit of shooting, couldn't figure out what to drop to add it in.

Liche King, Lightning Bolt 5, Heal 6, Surge 12, item that once a game lets you cast 2 spells.
Vampire on Undead Peg: Item that boosts her surge from 3 to 7.
1x Legion of Zombies
2x Hordes of Skeleton Spearmen
1x Horde of Werewolves, item that gives pathfinder
4x Troops of Ghouls
2x Regiments of Revenant Cav
1x Troop of Revenant Cav

The idea is to have the Skeletons and zombies hold the center, while the werewolves and cav turn the flank. Ghouls are throw away troops Their only job is to stall my opponent on my weak flank.
With surge 12 and Surge 7, I should have some decent movement options with those big blocks and the cav.
I really wanted some bowmen and catapults, but A: don't own catapults yet, and B: skeleton bowmen look terrible on paper.

I have 40 bowmen, are they worth it?

I'm currently using two Troops of Bowmen as early drops and objective grabbers. It's a low investment that contributes a little in the shooting phase.

I used to use the Vampire on Peg, but I find the Vampire on horseback is better for the points. a) More defense and harder to shoot, and b) can charge 360 as he is still an individual.

Also, unless you're playing very conservative with the Vampire on Pegasus, I think it will be hard to Surge units with him as he needs LOS to target them.

I run two Necromancers instead of the Liche King, not sure which one is better yet.

Otherwise, I like your army composition. Horde of Werewolves with Pathfinder in particular is money.

With Nimble, the vamp on peg should be able to get an angle in with surge. Wraiths fly and shamble, they pair well with the vamp on peg.

Am I blind or are there no Wraiths in your list, though?

In the context of the list you posted, I feel something is going to waste in your Vamp/extra surge item combo. Either the Vamp is ranging ahead to threaten flanks/warmchines/small units (wasting his surge ability,) or he is flying 8"-10" to support the Cav, which is kind of a waste of his mobility, IMHO. At that point, you're better off with the horse rider Vamp to save points/have higher durability.

No wraiths, that was the variant. Meant to say Mounted Revenants.
The idea with the surge is to have the vampire a bit forward, the liche can surge a unit forward, into the arc of the vampire, who can then surge it again.
12" is pretty short range, I've really liked the flying surge so far.

Very Small fast flexible army. The Wraith Phalanx is awesome, 6+ defense and no thunderous charge. Ultimate roadblock.
