Hey Dakka, or however you like to be addressed. I'm Barsoom Child and I'll be joining this merry band and glorious hobby!
I have been interested in war gaming since I was old enough to realize the difference between stepping on a six sided and a four sided die. I just splurged and bought my first 11 space marines and have been (lurking?) around the forum for a few weeks trying to get a feel for how to go forward on this marvelous adventure.
It seemed only fitting I fully join the collective, so here I am!

Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

I really liked the imperial fists and their sentinels of terra supliment, but not so much the yellow paint job. So I was thinking a counts-as homebrew chapter. I ordered my marines off eBay in separate bits and got a lot of space wolves and really liked the look. So I was thinking I'd call my chapter the Imperial wolves and go with a faded blue paint job.

@Knightly: Thanks! I'm excited to get to flesh them out and bring them to Dakka. I actually got on here because I was inspired by GrimTeef's Storm Eagle army and the beautiful blue he has. I'm sure there is some way to embed a link to his army listing in my Post isn't there?
