We're going to take another swing at this, this time leading with the Walking Hut.  I hope you'll check us out when we launch, it will be Dec 11th until Jan 3rd directly on our own site using a Paypal module.

www.dungeoncrawler.com/store/

The Walking Hut will be $38/$45 respectively (unpainted/painted), we need around 450 backers which is more support than we've ever had in the past.  Unpainted will come unassembled, but primed.

The base of the figure is 6x6, and most of it will come apart so that it can go from sitting to walking.  The roof comes off so you can see the firepit and shelf inside.

I'm not looking at profiting on the crowdfunder, just funding, so prices will increase once we start selling in store.  Even though the funding is upfront, it's a short enough of a campaign that we can do refunds via Paypal if the campaign is unsuccessful.  Exact shipping will be calculated at the end via a USPS module.

Our second goal will be the 3x3 transparent plastic Water Elemental Lord for $17/$19.  He will have two paint versions; Arctic and tropical.

Long story short; we had to bypass Kickstarter as they will not allow us to run the campaign in USD because we are Canada based, and sponsorship is a nightmare.  We need to run this in USD to keep our sanity, since we pay our manufacturers in USD it just makes sense.

2 questions:

-6x6 what? Inches or Centimeters? Would't it be better to give the measurments of the actual model rather than the base anyway?

- Why supply it primed? Anyone wanting to paint it will have the means to prime it themselves, and perhaps want to do so in a different color than what you've chosen.

I bet the priming is part of the manufacturers base process. He will receive them primed or prepainted probably, so he is using that as an added feature.

I find it amusing that there are multiple projects out there for not baba yagas huts

We go through the priming process with the manufacturers any ways, so we thought we were doing painters a favour - I suppose we could not do this if it is a painters best interests.

I use 6x6 for 1" grid sized, because there's a lot of confusion in the market with 25mm and 1" and heroic scale. It's a 6" round base.
