This looks pretty sweet! And Black Panther is alread featuring? Nice!

But I still have doubts, that only one Civil War movie will feel rushed. And I hope, that it will feel like the Winter Soldier movie, not an Avengers 2.5

You're a bit late to the party to bring this up. Cap's been around since the 40's.

I'm glad that this appears to be making both sides seem correct, rather than going 'you need to decide who is right', whilst one side is creating alternate dimension prison camps and cyborg clones, like in the comics.

Having the words 'Civil War' and 'nuance' together is confusing me slightly.

The only way Civil War works is if both sides are right. If one side is more right than the other, then there's no real conflict, and we get slaved super-villains and Tony being so evil that even Reed eventually walks away.

Notice Wanda was on Team Cap there, unlike in the pics released, and Vision was nowhere to be seen.

I think Wanda and Vision are going to end up forming their own team.

I do think that, as with The Winter Soldier before it, there's going to be some big misdirection going on the trailers here. Cap defending Bucky is enough to get people maybe turning against him, but it's not enough to prompt the Registration Act all on its own. So my guess is that the SHRA is already being put forward, probably by Ross, but at the start it'll only form the backdrop for Cap's mission. before the fight ultimately becomes about the SHRA once more and more characters get involved.

A city falling out of the sky is what gets the Accords* written, not Bucky defending Cap.



*And yes, they're called the "Sokovia Accords" - they're even in the trailer. No SHRA.

Wow that looks like another awesome Marvel film

I'm excited. They seem to be adjusting it to be a better viewpoint on the issue than the comics. It is going to feel slightly like an Avengers movie but that's because Cap is best in at least a mini-ensemble (see Winter Soldier) and because it looks like they may only be introducing 1 new character. So since we know everyone we don't need to spend to much time on deep thought.

Crazy thing is if Fury really isn't in this one.

To me, that trailer definitely has more of the feel of Winter Soldier than either Avengers outing, the overall tone seemed a lot more grounded than, say, the trailers for Age of Ultron. Which is good, as this is a Cap film rather than anything else. With the Russo brothers set to direct the next two Avengers films as well, this should give them a nice bridge between managing TWS as well as they did and going forward into a true Avengers ensemble movie. Here, they can get a feel for each character while still keeping the focus on just a few, then in Infinity War the others can get a bit more screen time.

I'd be surprised at a no-show from Fury simply as the whole team now know he's not dead. But then, not being Director of SHIELD any more does limit the degree to which he can actually impact the story, so there's a danger of him just featuring for the sake of it...

I do hope we get to see the New Avengers in action before everything goes to hell, the lineup from the end of AoU was too cool not to do anything with.
