The Emperor's Gift is awesome. It features the Wolves heavily as a bonus too.

I used to like the Wolves more but not a fan of the 5th edition forward additions. Knights for me.

Knights, always. Wolves got so Mary Sue, they're almost Ultra-Wolves.

Ah yes the Ultra-wolves, love those guys as an Ultramarines player.

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

I prefer Wolves. Knights are a bit too...elite of elite.

I love knights. Big GK player. however, I love the models of the wolves too. they have some of the best looking models. not that the gk are lacking on models, but the wolves blow em away.

The Wolves suffer from having been a cool idea back in the day that had to survive the EXXXXTREEEEME!!! 1990s when everyone wore their hats backwards, their pants baggy, and shades.

That is why we have WolfyMcWolfwolf and Murderface Murderface MurderMcMurderhandsMurderface from the Planet Murderia.

They also took their "loose cannon" concept too far, to where they make even their allies look terrible, and yet do not suffer for it. They are, at this point, more Marty Stu than the Ultramarines and, thus, boring.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
