Nice report, that 20x20 system is really interesting! Although it hurts seeing the grateful Nomads lose :(
If your list linked in your battle report is correct you had more Ghulams (6) than allowed (4) in your list. That might be the reason why that sole ML Ghulam was so powerful.

Very true, I only noticed there was an X on the list when I arrived at the club, and assumed it was because I had too many orders in the first pool [so I moved a couple over before the game]. I usually play QK or vanilla, so it didn't even occur to me that Ghulams might be restricted AVA in an HB list. To be fair, the QK list I also had with me was probably stronger, and had a 5 man Ghulam link with ML too.

QK is really hard to compete against, indeed Especially if it's played by one of my friends, he's one of the best Players I got to know yet.

I'd suggest a rematch with a new battle report (actually I can't cope to see Nomads lose) would be a cool move and for sure entertaining for all of us
