I've been painting these guys for about six weeks now and the whole time since then i was either too lazy or too busy for a proper real-time documentation

But let's start with the first step: the raw state

These are the miniatures from the Bakunin J.C. Starterset and a Prowler (the leftmost guy)

For the punched sheet i had to drill an insane amount of 272 holes! The rest of the base detailing is made of a guitar string, cutted plastirod and tin foil from a champagne bottle

These are the finished bases:

with some details

At last - to show some progress - the five finished models:

the aforementioned Prowler

the three Moderators

and last but not least the Reverend Moira

More stuff will follow, obviously

Awesome work. i really like the bases and you did really good work on the white.

Is it a trick of the light in the photo or did you paint a black eye on the one with the blueish hair?

Now with 100% more blog....

a fully scratchbuilt house with a roof-deck

some detail

with easy access through the roof

And last ll new entries in one pichture because i forgot to make more pictures:

Two more Moderators, one Riot Grrl, a Daktari with Zondbot and a Lunokhod Sputnik with two crazy coalas

No, i didn't paint a black eye but there might was a little too much shade on my brush while painting the face

How did you do the Prowler colors?

The main colour, the dark grey clothing and armour is painted with eshin grey, shaded with nuln oil and highlighted with dawnstone
while the helmet and all the other light grey parts did get a base of celestia grey followed with uluthan grey and ceramite white on the edges.
For the ADHL i used a mix of lothern forest and kantor blue, the metal parts are leadbelcher with a nuln oil shading.
And at last: for the glowing parts i used sotek green with some highliting in various sotek green / ceramite white ratios.

I hope this is helpful for you and thanks for your laud

I so want to get into Infinity... these models look amazing. Great job!

Trying to get a buddy to get halfsies for the new starter set...

What is best in life? To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women. Grrr.

A buddy to start with is always a good idea i did it in a similar way a few months ago and now we are a group of six players.

Ok now back to some on topic bragging with my miniatures! I got some work done

Tadaa! My Sineater Observant! It had to dwell just three months in an almost finished state

Nice stuff! liking the bases. How did you do the bullet casings on the ground?

That's easy, take some polystyrene rods of favoured diameters and cut them in pieces of about 1.5mm length. Take care to cut them as uniform as
possible! Put the"casings" on a piece of paper, place a drop of plastic glue on the base (obviously you'll need another type of glue if your base surface
doesn't consist of plastic) and sprinkle the plastic pieces onto that droplet, you are finished!
Well, if you want to add some more detail you can place some lonely casings around that made pile, just poke the tip of your hobby knife in some plastic
glue and create small droplets on your base where you can place the lonely casings.

Thats the finished raw build:
