Had this discussion with some friends and have yet to come to a conclusion. I say you use the newest 7th ed chart with 1 doing nothing and all that. My friend says you use the ones in the back of the horus heresy book with any hit causing an instant death/penetrating hit on the target.

Just wondering what all you guys think about it and which everyone else uses. Especially when playing 40k vs 30k.

The old 30k books have leftover reference charts from 6th Edition. You'd use the updated 7th Edition if you aren't going to use the optional D = S10 with extras thing.
