Just something that popped in my mind. Do we know users who work at gaming companies.
My guess is that due to the amount of users this should be unavoidable. Its not bad at all I am just wondering what % it would be and if they posted regulary.

Inactive, user. New profile might pop up in a while

It'll depend on too many factors. It's not limited to gaming companies though. John Lewis gives their employees stock, so does the cooperative (UK).

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Guy who wrote Frostgrave was posting in the thread about the game before.

Think we've had a couple of the Black Library authors post here as well (Aaron Dembski-Bowden for one)

Rick Priestly posts on the Warlord forum although believe may have made a few posts here before.

There is a guy who works for Mongoose, although looking at his posts I think desperately wants to be working for GW instead.

Prodos and Hasslefree also come to mind, though it would be better for both companies if they had a professional account for just their announcements and a private account for discussions.

Both Gangfight Games and (the now defunct?) On the Lamb Games run their official forums from here. Victoria Miniatures uses these forums as well, she always refers to Dakka Dakka as the place to discuss her products.

There was also a Games Workshop USA rep who created an account on these forums for the recruitment of store staff, he even became a DCM, but sadly the more vitriolic elements of this forum have made him feel less than welcome.

All in all though, smaller companies more likely than not represent their selves, whereas bigger companies like Infinity and Privateer Press don't bother with us scrubs, but are instead run by volunteers.

Don't forget about Mark Mondragon of Dreamforge Games; he goes by NoseGoblin here, and often interacts with folks here on designs and things when he has time to spare from being an almost one-man show. I suppose technically that's a model company at the moment and not a gaming company though.

In terms of having a "stake" as in "work with the company in some way" you do have a healthy number of people here with access to Mantic staff between being outriders, on their rules committee and/or just being an employee. Once you start going into "who volunteers to work for company X" you start getting a much longer list though.
