I've been planning my Abyssal Dwarf list and want to run the Inspiring talisman on my Ironcaster, meaning it won't be available to my allies in the list (either Goblins or Varangur, both of whom if I included a character would be tempted to run a wizard, who is not Inspiring naturally).
How important do you find it is to have Inspiring for every unit, especially allied ones? It seems much more important for the Goblins with their low Nerve, but then again if I'm running them as chaff units maybe I don't care. Do people run allies with no hero at all?
I'd love some general thoughts, and can also share the lists I'm working on if that's helpful? It's all going to the painter in a week so I will actually be able to get some games in soon
