So I was given the Isle of Blood Skaven and I preordered the New box with the plague furnace. Based on that what would you suggest as a next purchase? I was thinking doom wheel because I love that model but I am open to suggestions.

Sounds like you should have a solid force already. I'd build paint and play with that and see where you seem lacking on the table.

Can't really go wrong but I have a skaven/chaos army too and I'm looking at adding Stormfiends. Tunnelling adds another dynamic to the army and general power level is pretty high.

Well that all depends on what sort of theme you want, if youre getting the new Start Collecting box, I would suggest some more Plague Monks to build up your core force, then when you want a Monster, the Verminlord Corruptor is always a good choice

Thats only if youre going Pestilens mind, there are a lot of Skaven clans to choose from like Skyre, Masterclan and Eshin which all specialise in certain types of units.

Hope that helped!

Paint up and play with what you have for now.

The other Skaven stuff - i.e. other non-Pestilens factions - will be reboxed or expanded upon eventually.

Just added a Doomwheel myself, and would also recommend Stormvermin as a cannot go wrong choice!

One of the things I really like about AoS is that anything is a valid addition.

With the demise of points values, *any* unit can be worthwhile and useful. My recommendation would be play a few games with what you've got, figure out what *you* feel is missing, and find something to do that job.

My purchasing now is driven partially by what I like the look of, partially by what 'holes' I have in my kit. I like the new Stormcast cavalry models, and as Tzeentch Daemons are causing me no end of gyp, Tempestors are next for me!
