I'm trying to be a little different and be a bit more fun and fluffy. In fact a lot more fun than my tournament eldar that tends to do very well at my local scene. I'd like to know people's thoughts. It's a purposefully weakened list. And there's a few risks within it which I'll explain. But I like it and I think it'll be fun. Trying to avoid the standard build. Though I know I have double NDK's. It's mostly because I love them. I do realise they're a power play. I've used just about all the imperial models I have. I have access to 2 more imperial Knights, coteaz, a vindicate and a culexus. I also have the firestorm redoubt. But that's the limit of what I own for imperial right now.
The equipment is because this is what's modelled.
Grey knight Nemisis strike force.
HQ - Grand Master, soul glaive, incinerator (runs with purifiers, fishes for gate)
HQ - Libby, lvl 3, liber demonica (supposed to join terms, unless GM fails to get Gate and the Libby does)
Elites - 10 man purifiers, hammer, 2x Falchions, 2x sword, 1x hammer, 1x halberd, 4x psycannon (combat squad, cannons and a sword/halberd stays at home, rest join GM, Inq and maybe Libby)
Troops - 5 terminators, psycannon.
Heavy support 2x NDK, teleported, hammer, psycannon, incinerator
Imperial knight oathsworn - Knight crusader, rapid fire battle cannon, meltagun
Inquisition allies - Ordo Xenos, power armour, rad grenades, psychotroke grenades, 2x servo skulls, bolt pistol, power sword.
Comes to 1849.
The idea is the imperial knight and NDK's start on the board for fire power and board control. The purifiers combat squad down. The 5 including the cannons camp home-ish. The others join the above mentions characters in the hope to gate/cleansing flame bomb on turn one. It is tempting to fish for invis for them. But I think that's a risk. Terms should turn up turn one and with the models already on the board there should be a fair amount of threat saturation.
I know his is never going to win tournaments. But it should be fun.
