Hey Dakka,
Im trying to.expand my Ork force to include a battlewagon but don't want to either drop the cash on the GW model or have a "standard" model for it.
I was thinking of doing a train or some sorts and just plasticard the whole thing, but I'm not entirely sure.

Do any of you guys have ideas or pictures of really cool, really fun conversions?
Oh and the general idea of my army is speed freaks, so anything at all is welcome!

Yeah, either start with a toy car/truck, or just start gluing plasticard together and go nuts. I'm working on some scratch built battlewagons right now. There are templates out there on the Internets, or just have fun with it. As long it's roughly the right size no one should have a problem with it.

Just keep in mind who you game with. I actually had people complain about my converted land raider because "it's front armor facing is way wider than a battle wagon and is modeling for advantage" never mind I made it before the official model was even made and that's what everyone was using back then.
