Hello Dakka, so I was recently watching some of the narrative campaigns from Miniwargamming and noticed one of the changes they made to blast weapons was to limit the scatter of blasts to walls/terrain it would come into contact with. My question to you guys is would that be a good/viable change for actual 40k games in general? How would that effect the current meta of high rate of fire mid-high str wepons being vastly better than single shot high str wepons that are blasts IE scatbikes being able to kill anything non AV14 better than, say, a Fire Prisim's main cannon. Any thoughts are welcome, as long as they're constructive

That's a Zone Mortalis rule, and as such is official GW material iirc

im aware, but what i was implying was to transfer that rule over to the main game. As zone mortalis is a different beast, it would have different implications involved.
