Actually it wasn't that big of an issue honestly. My decloaking kept my opponent guessing. The thing that let me down was actually my piloting in the late game stage. Round two there wasn't much I could do except for chase echo and the last round I just didn't think his potential move through.

The one other thing I want to say as well is in all four game's I used the terrain to my advantage as much as possible and I couldn't recommend this more to anybody that does use a similar list
Well done! it's good to see someone making successful use of the TIE phantom. The Intelligence Agent is a very good call. It might actually be worth considering swapping the other recon specialist for one too.
The big 'oh bugger' mistake happening once you were down to 1v1 is probably not co-incidence; intel agent is an amazing card.
I'd say the issue with pilot skill is far more in the combat phase; as noted, the difference between shooting first and second with a TIE Phantom is massive. You can out-fly vader and fel if you out-play them, especially using your two sigmas as blockers. The real problem will be high
PS turrets - Dengar is a good example - because whilst soontir can boost/barrel roll to get out of your arc, it'll often cost him his shot. A turret, however, will always have a shot at you if you have one at it.
At the same time; Echo's pilot skill is such that you're never going to out-pilot skill soontir, vader, poe, etc. So I'd be half tempted to say 'screw it' and use your
EPT for something else.
If you wanted to use the low
PS sigmas to block, intel agent and stygium particle accelerator pair up well. That saves you enough points to equip Echo a bit more lavishly.
Recon specialist is good - making up for not getting whisper's free focus token ability - but if you can get used to using him right, Agent Kallus works amazingly well. A sensor jammer can be very effective too - you only have to have it stop one damage for it to be as good as a shield upgrade, and normally you can do more than that.
An especially nasty combination if you can get the hang of it is Juke/Kallus/Sensor Jammer.
Against your named 'prey', you don't need to focus, so can evade instead. Sensor jammer requires your opponent to spend his focus on the attack or lose a hit, juke to spend it on the defence or lose an evade. It's not going to work on poe dameron or glitterstim users, but it's very annoying on anyone else.
It's especially annoying on deadeye ordnance carriers, who can't afford to use their focus token on either as they need it to arm their torpedoes....
