Hi, I was wondering that are the best options for chaos for either deep striking or outflanking. I'm looking for something to capture objectives mainly, but being able to take out backfield units (tanks, infantry or riptides etc.) would be a big plus too. I'm playing a slow renegades infantry list that has the bodies to capture home and midfield objectives, but faraway ones are harder...

Any options open - daemons, marines, KDK, renegades or any other forge world options that may be out there.

I really can't think of many options. Could use a gorepack or spawns for fast movement (though they may get shot as trying to run forwards), or a summoning lord of change to rustle up some backfield bodies? Alternatively could run some dragoons / ironstriders and count them as dark mechanicus or something.

Gorepack.. Flesh hounds have Scout, which in turn allows them to outflank.

CSM and KDK things I've seen used effectively against me are Outflanking Flesh Hounds from the Gorepack, small units of combi-melta & power axe/maul deepstriking Terminators, Huron Blackheart used to Outflank melta/plasma Chosen/Marines and the Mayhem Pack for deepstriking Helbrutes.

I didn't realise flesh hounds could scout! That's a definite option I guess. The bike units are a bit of a tax though when they're not needed...

Can't say I've ever really seen the appeal of those three-man terminator units though, and Huron's quite expensive just to get outflank.

Chaos really don't seem to have many options when compared with loyalists - you could choose between drop pods, skyhammer force, ravenwing, sentinels, ironstrider cavaliers, raptor wing to name a few.

Rather expensive, but three Oblits with an attached Sorcerer in Termi-Armor and spell familiar or even better Balestar of Mannon (in the updated supplement you don't have to reroll everything but only missed dice) did some nice work for me. It'll take out what you want and with MoN they are quite durable.
