Warscraper drones give their unit move through cover and a few other rules that imply a sophisticated recon suite.

But it also turns all difficult terrain checks into dangerous terrain checks for enemy units within 12 inches.

... How does it do that?

... I'm trying to kitbash one.

1st thing that comes to me is a basic explorer/data drone wich quickly scans or survey the ruins and provide the unit with information about those.

Also it can deploy smaller mines/traps for enemy troops.

Or just think on Claws from Philip K. Dick "second variety" history.

AKA the "screamers" from the movie of the same name (the non-humanoid ones. Autonomous mobile swords or whatever they were called) which is based upon that story.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

My first thought was Screamers. That movie was awful, but even so...

So you just need an empty desert base with a stuffed bear?

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
