So after reading the newer Flesh Tearers space marine battles novel I am going to start a
FT army. Now I am going to build towards a 1500 list and here is what I have. It is all either podding in, riding in the storm raven or the lone speeder chilling by himself
lol Here goes:
Flesh Tearers Strike Force:
Libby - lvl2, melta bomb, executioners hood
Sang Priest - auspex, melta bomb, power fist
5 Death Company - 4x
bp/
ccw and 1 hammer (in raven with priest and libby)
Furioso Dread - magna-grapple, blood talons (melta/heavy flamer) - rides on back of Raven
10 Tactical Squad - pod - heavy flamer, flamer, combi-flamer/hammer vet srg (all srg's will be modeled with eviscerators SO FLESH TEARER-Y)
10 Assault Squad - pod - 2x melta // hammer vet srg w/combat shield
10 Assault squad - pod - 2x plasma // hammer vet srg
Land Speeder - assault cannon/
HB (Any suggestions to replace this guy? Maybe a
dev squad?)
Storm Raven - assault cannons, multi melta, hurricane bolters
So the theory is that the
tac squad and probably melta squad come down turn 1 - with the speeder hugging cover to stay alive. Then the second pod and raven come in turn 2 hopefully and wreck some face. Probably rolling on divination for rerolls - or biomancy to make the squad beefcake. With the boost to all other dreads the furioso will do some work if I can get that charge off the next turn. 6 attacks on the charge rerolling wounds will be nasty at s10ap2
Any and all suggestions are welcome but I would like to keep the same theme of pods/ravens - that is the way the flesh tearers do thing at the end of the day. To make it more fluffy I should have a chaplain with the
DC instead of a libby - good swap? thanks for y'all's opinions!
