I feel like this would be an interesting match, as I believe the covenant from halo outdo tau in space, but on the ground tau I suspect vastly outdo anything the covenant can drop. What do you guys think?

Aren't covenant ships vulnerable to giant railguns? I wonder what the Tau might have as orbital defenses?

Tau. Covenant ground stuff is vulnerable to roughly cold war era technology. Hell, you can damage their main battle tank with an Anti-materiel rifle. Anti-material rifles stopped being effective against tanks in the 40's.
