RPG where you go insane, die or get eaten by a gibbering monstrosity from beyond space-time.
And if you're lucky, it happens in that order. People in that game are never lucky.
Haven't played it in a number of years now, but there were a few things that stood out.
Your
GM must know their gak.
Don't get attached to your character.
(I mean it. Depending on the setting (there were at least three when I played - gaslight [Victorian period - think Jack the ripper times], classic 20s and "Now" [80s-90s] and though hit points could be restored, SAN wasn't so lucky.)
