Thanks for that. I've definitely looked it over in the past, but my group felt it seemed a bit... much. In light of the last rules-light version of Mighty Empires which GW ever sold, with just a minimum of points to spend upgrading tiles w/wins, this seems to have tons of extra rules. Love the idea of each "domain" having its own sub-rules, etc... but I think I might just use this as a guide-line, and maybe strip it back some. Automatically Appended Next Post: To add to the above, the last iteration of Mighty Empires was really a "map campaign" with minor additions/bonuses for holding certain tiles, whereas the Azyr Empire is a full RESOURCE campaign.
I'm mostly interested in the former, and not so much the later which is VERY RPG heavy, and involves specific character progression, etc.
