I am getting ready to build a new SOB army. (Don't doubt it, they are on the way!) and I am thinking of a theme, I got one:
Ollamius’s Valkyries
They quest for the remains of martyrs and fight to insure that no sacrifice is in vain. It is said that to die well on the field with them is to fight for the emperor forever.
While dutiful to the estuary and willing to fight at their command, they spend most of their time following visions to where they are needed. Without any notice, an army, a few squads, or even a single sister will show up before a battle to fight with them and escort the dead to the emperor. Besides these sisters, fear and doubt cannot exist. From the humble guardsman to the most venerated space marine champion, there is only one desire: To live the next few minutes well.

Valkyrie themed Sisters are a fairly common home-brewed theme, and they are usually received pretty well. I've really loved all the ones I've seen so far!

I am yet to be married to the idea, if it's common I'll keep thinking about it, I should have plenty of time.

I suppose I mean that within the confines of the subset that is Sisters of Battle armies, then the subset that is homebrewed Orders of Sisters, it's fairly common. (Or at least something I've seen commonly.)
I would hardly call it common in the grand scheme of 40k. I've seen, I think, three valkyrie themed Sisters armies? But I've only seen I think seven or eight sisters armies altogether, and only four of them were homebrewed variations. (If that helps at all.)

The most common themes of warrior womens are always amazons and valkiryes. But there are more, if you wish to explore:

Well, so far, nothing sticks out as a huge issue, but do you have more in the way of detail?
