Subject: 1,500pt Video Battle Report - Ordo Malleus Vs. DEATHWATCH and Ravenwing
It's another Monday ... I wish someone would figure out a way to stop them from happening ... Until then, here's a brand new Glacial Geek Battle Report! https://youtu.be/SVez1loQrPk This week my Deathwatch and Ravenwing take on the Ordo Malleus with Grey Knight and Exorcist (Space Marine) allies! The internal bureaucracy of the Inquisition is like any other large governmental organization. There are internal disagreements on mission, direction, and action. The only difference is that most large governmental organizations don't place martial forces in the hands of individuals. So when two Inquisitors disagree, the consequences can be catastrophic. When an Inquisitor with the Ordo Malleus butts heads with an Inquisitor with the Ordo Xenos, all out war can break out. Will the Ordo Malleus prove their might is enough to grab what they want, or will the Deathwatch and Ravenwing allies prove they are more committed to the Emperor? Watch and find out!

Super cool batrep, as usual! One problem I noticed was with your opponent's list: an Allied Detachment cannot take a Fortification. You have to take a Combined Arms Detachment to get a fortification, unless whichever other specific detachment allows one. It didn't end up affecting the game much, though.
As for your Deathwatch, maybe try one of the Kill Teams from the rulebook? I'd be interested to see one of those in action. That and maybe a Corvus Blackstar instead of the Land Raider. I've been toying with adding some Deathwatch to my Dark Angels myself, so I've been enjoying watching you run the two together in different combinations.
My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

Thank you! You are correct about the fortification! I completely forgot about that ... I'll make sure to let him know ... As for my Deathwatch, yeah I definitely need to get some more dude-bros built and painted to try the Kill Teams in the codex ... I have the Overkill box so they have all the special characters I need to fill out those Kill Teams so it's just a matter of finding the time to make them a thing ;-) ... I also bought a Blackstar and plan on running that thing ... Looks super cool :-D
