Hi,

I'd currently like to expand my Dark Vengeance force and am looking for ideas on how to do it. The specialty of The Pyre is fire tactics, so I would like to maximize on flamer, melta and possibly plasma weapons. Currently all I own for the army is DV and a 14-man squad of Khorne Berzerkers. I'd like to find a way to utilize the berzerkers and get them effectively to combat without being shot to pieces first... I play against Eldar a lot, so that's probably going to happen often anyway.

Here's my current idea for a list:

HQ1: Chaos Lord (105 pts)
plasma pistol, power sword, mark of Khorne

EL1: Helbrute (115 pts)
multi-melta, heavy flamer

TR1: Khorne Berzerkers (7 m.) (187 pts)
3x chainaxe
power fist, combi-flamer

TR2: Khorne Berzerkers (7 m.) (177 pts)
3x chainaxe, combi-flamer, power axe

TR3: Cultists (10 m.) (61 pts)
4x autogun, flamer, shotgun

TR4: Cultists (10 m.) (59 pts)
4x autogun, flamer

DT1: Chaos Rhino (45 pts)
Combi-flamer

DT2: Chaos Rhino (45 pts)
Combi-flamer

FA1: 4x Chaos Spawn (120 pts)

FA2: Raptors (130 pts)
2x Meltagun, Meltabombs

HS1: Forgefiend (200 pts)
additional ektoplasma cannon

Total: 1244 pts

Any ideas and tips regarding the army list and tactica is much appreciated

It's very hard to make Khorne Berserkers work, if not impossible. the

The best way would be to put 9 in a Dreadclaw drop pod with a Khorne Lord.
If you play the Dreadclaw cleverly you can get a fairly assured 2nd turn charge.
And there's no need to buy the expensive Forgeworld model you can convert one from a space marine drop pod using this great guide: http://darkfuturegaming.blogspot.co.uk/2010/10/diy-cheap-chaos-dreadclaws-part-1.html?m=1
