Greetings all! Just wanted to drop a quick intro and thank you all for having me. I've been a fan of the Warhammer games and lore since my first exposure to it in the mid 90's. However at the time it was beyond my range as far as affordability. However I did have a number of friends with impressive armies and their own tables that I would often watch and enjoy even if I didn't fully know what was going on. So recently I had gotten the itch to get back into modeling and I thought what better subject matter then WH. Not only for the modeling but also due to actually being able to do something and play an actual game using said models.

Upon my researching the past month or two before selecting an initial army to build, DakkaDakka kept coming up in my searches and definitely provided me with a good amount of info and seamed like a good community overall. So it was only natural to come and sign up.

Just picked up a Khorne Daemonkin codex, Berzerker kit and Chaos Lord to start working on a couple weeks ago. Is it the best army to compete competitively? Probably not. However, with the first rule being pick what you like and are drawn to, I've already won. I love the models and from what I've read it may not be the most OP army but definitely can be a bunch of fun to play. Sounds good to me. Still a n00b and reading all the material but looking forward to getting onto a table soon and letting the dice roll! Luckily I've got a couple other friends just getting back into it themselves and we are all going to work on initial 500pt armies to start.

... and so it begins!

Thank you sir! Indeed! Smashing all boundaries, constructs, and armies in our way shall allow us to return to chaos in it's purest form. They shall know us by the marks burned into their corpses and gleaming seals upon our weapons. The 8 pointed star of the Chaos Hordes! Blood and skulls shall pave our way!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
