Hello guys,
I was wondering if these are the updated rules for the lucious pod: http://www.tralfazsolutions.com/MegaBattle/IA2Update28Aug.pdf
Many thanks,

Spado

No, that was the update to the old version of IA2, not the current 2nd edition of IA2.

Thank you for your reply. Can you still charge the turn you deep strike? If not, what is the advantage to run a lucious compared to a normal pod?

You cannot charge the turn the pod deepstrikes.
The advantage of lucius pods is that the dreadnaught does not have to disembark after deepstriking.
You can use it as a bunker to keep your dread safe for a turn after landing (open topped, so the dread can still shoot out just fine), then launch an assault out of the pod on the following turn. They are pretty good.

Does it still have 3 HP and 12/12/12 armor? Can the enemy team still target the dreadnought inside if it is open topped?

No; open topped just makes you vulnerable to No Escape!, but that doesn't much matter to a dreadnought.

Yeah pretty much.
Tyranids might give them a hard time with their haywire flamers. Eldar D-scythes too.
Aside from those, there isn't too much that's likely to kill the dread without first having to kill the pod.

IIRC, stats are the same as a normal pod, but minus the storm bolter. I think it gets shrouded on the turn it drops too.

So basically you place your drop pod close enough to the enemy units, you cross your fingers and hope that the enemy team won't explode it during (shouldn't be too hard I guess) his turn. You then have to disembark and roll these 2D6 charge if something is still around. Or am I missing something?
This pod has been terribly nerfed

Terribly nerfed? It is still very good for a dreadnought. At least your Dread don't need to worry being shot at from all directions right after you land and before you charge.

Compare to the nerf on tactical marines through the grenade FAQ, the nerf on droppod is light.
